The End of an Era

Wow! It has been so long since I posted here on my blob and it has felt like I have been neglecting a frind somehow. I finally had a few moments today to sit down and work on getting this dear little webspace back in operation. I need to put back all my links (anyone want to go into their template and copy my a list of links for the the people that have blogs that I know??? Don't worry I can get them myself!)
So much has happened in my life since my last post and today an era ended that I felt was worthy of noting. It seems that some people in my life decided that no longer should I be allowed to wander about my life unconnected and so they got together and made a decision to take intervention into their own hands and see that I duely outfitted with a cell phone. YES you read that right, yours truely now owns one of the those crazy devices that seem to have taken over the world. Mind you it's a pay as you go and I don't plan on keeping it on much, more for my convenience than anything else, but the sad fact is that it seems my age of independence has come to a screeching halt. There were a couple of groups of people who were conspiring to such ends but my friends Monique and Gregg were the ones to get the job done. It is just a little bare bones phone that doesn't take pictures, I have no text messaging and nor do I have fancy little rings to keep you entertained when you called but come on really who needs all that stuff anyway on a phone? As long as it has numbers and 'send'I think I should be just fine. LOL I have made one call with it and entered a few phone numbers so I know it works! At .18cents a min. I won't be calling to chat but who knows you just might hear from me someday from my gulp, choke, cell phone!!!

Anyone want to get together in the next week or so??? I have some free time and would love to see friends before I get busy with school again on the 8th of Jan.? Send me a e-mail if you have some free time to get together for a hike/walk, lunch, whatever you fancy!
