Bottles and Formula Once Again
Aren't my new babies just the cutest things ever???
My mom found the gray one in the middle of the road on Sat. afternoon and then while we were looking for a mother, etc. the black one came out to the cries of the other one. I figure they are probably about 3+ weeks old because they still don't pee without help and they don't have many teeth. The gray one is much more fearless, talkative and adventuresome than the more shy and very quiet black one. I think that might have something to do with the breeding because as you can see the black one has some long haired something in it. They may have been wild because they did a lot of hissing and spitting for the first couple days which in itself was hillarious because even now after 3+ days of formula the gray one, the bigger of the two, just barely weighs a lb. when he if full and they are maybe 4-5 in. tall. I don't exactly know what is going to happen with these guys, I really don't need 4 cats, but I really want them to go to a home together so we'll see how it goes. In the mean time they are sure fun and I am glad to have them. This is the second time I have bottle raised kittens in the last couple of years and this time it's definetlly much easier. If any of you ever come upon others in need of TLC that you don't have time to give them feel free to call me!

Incredibly cute. The hissing is always a blast to hear (and imitate).
Yes! They look hillarious when they puff up and arch their back which makes them a HUGE 6in tall! These guys are interesting because when they are apart for long and can't see each other as they are exploring or when they are playing they don't meow to one another, make little trills and clicks and something else I can't quite name. They are obviously very attached to one another.
They are so adorable! Take lots of pictures and write a book about them. ;-) Or at least a continued story on your blog. They are so cute!
What sweet pictures, Crystal!
