Tragedy

What a horrible tragedy is the death of Steve Irwin. Not for his family but for everything he did during his short life. I wanted to cry when I heard the news yesterday morning. I am still somewhat stuned if the truth were known. Just a good reminder that no one is imune to death and you never know when today might be your last. I only wonder if he was a Christian???

I know... I was discussing this with one of my patients at the hospital last night, we were both saying how there are no guarantees about anything--you could be the healthiest person alive and death could take you just like that.
How crucial to know where you will be going!
May God be near that family!

Thanks for commenting Kristi sorry it took me so long to respond. You know I was having trouble with this blog so I wasn't trying to ignore you.
They buried him last week at the zoo and I think it's Tues. that they are having a public memorial.
So much truth in leaving each day as if it were your last. And that it really is how we spend our dash (between the numbers on our tombstones) that really matters.
